About Us

LaValise was conceived by a community of Los Angeles artists and and patrons during the time of Covid 19 when it wasn't possible to see art in person at galleries or museums. By receiving an exhibition in a suitcase full of art, the collector is able to have a sensory experience, and to support the art world. LaValise straddles both in-person and private viewing.

ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
The box, containing fourteen works by eleven local artists, is conceptualized, curated and designed by
Elizabeth Baldwin, Poul Lange, Mei Xian Qiu and Karen Rosner.
